Office Supplies I Can’t Live Without
By kathrynv on Jun 21, 2008 in Business

When I first started my home-based business, I got by with just the basics in terms of supplies. As my business grew, I added more tools and gadgets to the array of things that I have in my home office. These days, there are a lot of fun little things that I would prefer not to live without since they make my work life a lot more efficient.
Here are some of the basics I wouldn’t want to live without:
- Fax machine. I used to walk down to the UPS store and fax from there but it was expensive and time-consuming.
- Paper perforator. This makes it super easy to cut all of the promotional stuff for my business. And believe me, my business needs as much promotion as it can get!
- Stack cutter. This is another cutting tool that I rely on to cut stacks of paper for large projects. It saves so much time in comparison to doing it the long way!
- VoIP. Once my business went international, I needed this service to make long distance calls at a low cost.
- Business card cutter. I hand those babies out like crazy so I like to make it easy on myself when I need more.
Of course, if I had to start over from scratch without these things, I probably could, but I sure wouldn’t want to!
