3 Ways to Grow Taller
By askURop on Apr 20, 2008 in Health
Many young adults are curious about how to grow taller than the height they have reached after going through puberty. The issue may affect either men or women but tends to be more prevalent for men. That’s because the shorter a man is in our society, the more difficult it is for him to achieve professional success.
Those young adults who do their research will find that there are basically three different ways to grow taller:
- Daily stretching exercises. This one is particularly good for older people and people who don’t exercise a lot. That’s because we frequently don’t reach our full height because we’re always slouched over. Doing daily stretching and improving our posture can give us a slightly taller frame.
- Supplements and hormones. There are both natural supplements and medical prescriptions that are designed to help people grow taller. Human Growth Hormone is a popular choice (especially since Sylvester Stallone recently endorsed it) but many people find that a healthy diet and natural supplements is a better route to go.
- Surgery. For those people who are interested in extreme growth, there are medical ways to lengthen your limbs. They’re costly and painful so you may want to try other methods before considering this choice.
It’s possible to grow slightly taller than you are. Be smart and review all of the options available to you before choosing the method that you’d like to use to gain height.
