Finding a Tampa Apartment for Dogs
By Ask Me on Jun 13, 2008 in Real Estate
I’m a big fan of Florida – I better be, I’ve lived here my entire life. So when I decided to look for some South Tampa apartments, I wanted to find a place that I would stay in for a long period of time.
One difficulty I found in most Tampa apartments, however, was that most of the apartments in Tampa Florida did not accept dogs. And I had a dog. He is a 2 year old Sheltie, and you can believe he is going to come with me wherever I decide to move.
You would think that in such a heavily populated area, where dogs can be seen walking the streets everywhere, there would be more apartments that accept dogs. But apparently, these apartments are limited to only certain areas and the price of the apartments that do accept dogs tends to be higher than the rest, despite already paying a larger security deposit.
Oh well. My dog and I will keep looking. At the very least, maybe we can find an apartment near the water. If you have never seen an incredibly hairy dog jump into an ocean, you have not yet lived a full life. It is absolutely hilarious.
