My First Trip to a Tampa Salon

I’ll just come right out and admit that I’m something of a snob when it comes to getting my hair done. I wouldn’t say that I spend a fortune on my hair but I’ll drop a good chunk of change to see the stylist in San Francisco who always does my hair for me. It’s worth the cost to know that I’m going to come out of there looking like the city girl that I fancy myself to be.
Because of this, I was more than a little bit wary when I was spending a summer in Tampa and realized that I would need to go to a Tampa Hair Salon. It’s not that I exactly thought that a Tampa Salon couldn’t cut my hair but I just wasn’t confident that I’d get the same kind of edgy city cut that I’m accustomed to getting in California. And I was certain they couldn’t replicate the red in my dyed hair.
I did my research before selecting a salon. Using online search features such as Yelp and the community section of Craigslist, I got some advice about where to go for a good cut. Everyone seemed to point me in the direction of a South Tampa Hair Salon so I headed there and looked around the area. I knew the place to go as soon as I passed by the window. A woman walked out of the salon with exactly my shade of red hair and I was certain that this place could do what I needed to get done. I tossed my snobbiness aside and went in; it was a choice I didn’t regret.
